What starts out as a prank ends up becoming deadly. A group of high school students decide to play a joke on an unwitting neighbor. Not only do they manufacture a fake haunting, but they've also got the surveillance materials available to record the man's every reaction to the forced, seemingly supernatural events. However, it soon turns out that the joke is on them. When they begin to see things that defy explanation, it becomes obvious that they may have played a prank on the wrong man.
