Alex Bishop returns from a summer abroad to his hometown of Bridgwater, fi nding luck and circumstances have turned bitterly sour. At once effectively homeless and jobless, just when he needs it the least he falls victim to a vicious assault - an event with repercussions that refuse to leave him in peace. Alex is faced with a relatively humble mission: to regain some security and a healthy degree of self-esteem.
